POISON Singer's 'Rock Of Love' Continues To Soar In Ratings For VH1

Sunday night's (August 26) all-new episode of "Rock of Love With Bret Michaels" marked the highest-rated episode of the series thus far, earning a staggering 1.6 in the prime 18-49 demographic, an impressive +33% higher than the show's season average. The episode averaged 1.8 million viewers in the demographic and attracted 2.2 million total viewers. The hour-long episode ranked #4 among basic cable for the day in the 18-49 demo.

VH1's "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels" is created and executive produced by Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego for Mindless Entertainment and 51 Pictures, who also produce the record-breaking "Flavor of Love", "I Love New York", "Charm School" and "My Fair Brady". Ben Samek and Matt Odgers also serve as a series executive producers for 51 Minds. The production teams' programming launched VH1 into their highest ratings ever and their ratings continue to outperform their previous successes. Jeff Olde, Jill Holmes, Kristen Kelly, Leah Horwitz and Michael Hirschorn oversee the series for VH1.

"Rock of Love with Bret Michaels" is a 10-part series that airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. EST/8 p.m. Central on VH1. The series focuses on the never-before-revealed private side of notoriously wild rocker Bret Michaels, lead singer of the multi-platinum legendary party band POISON, who has 20 beautiful women residing in his Los Angeles rock palace in an attempt to win a VIP pass to his heart.

To help narrow the field in a series of eliminations, Michaels puts these women through a wild ride these women through various outrageous challenges. The ladies who win these tests of fortitude will join Michaels on some wild and exclusive dating excursions, while those who can't hang like true backstage VIPs will be escorted out in bona fide rock star fashion.

Whether it's partying on the tour bus, jetting-off to a sun-kissed beach, or hanging with Michaels' celebrity friends, this 10-part series follows these lucky ladies on the roller-coaster ride of their lives.
